Prime Advantage

Pysched for the upcoming Roots album, scheduled to be release on August 14. There has been some debate as to whether or not the Roots will continue to record now that they are currently the house band of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Putting rumors aside, Questlove has been very clear in saying that they will absolutely continue to release albums. The new album, How I Got Over, is much a much antipicated release for Roots fans. Will they revive the jazzy, acoustic approach to hip hop that is obvious in their early albums? Or will they continue the more recent synth-based style? Nonetheless, The Roots never fail to impress.
